ex Convert makes it possible to convert character sets such as characters from DOS/Windows to Macintosh and vice versa, or from a US system to a German System. This includes conversion of language-based characters. Conversion is performed using character-set tables and can be edited by the user, who can also create custom character tables.
ex ConvertPro does everything ex Convert can, but additionally offers a string-conversion feature (Find/Change) through tables.
