LinkUP! Workgroup

Features

LinkUP! Workgroup is a QuarkXPress XTensions module that enables you to connect an existing QuarkXPress document to a flat-file database.

Features:

• use tagging to link items in the QuarkXPress document directly to database fields;

• data can be updated bi-directionally, so data is always accurate;

• not necessary to store key data into the document since it can be updated with clean data from the data source;

• update the data automatically to save input hours; and

• make edits right up to the deadline and rebuild the entire document in minutes rather than weeks.

As with LinkUP! Enterprise, users range from global companies to one-man operations. LinkUP! Workgroup produces all types of documents, such as: catalogues, travel brochures, price guides, directories, financial-services literature, reference books, magazines, product labeling, diaries, direct marketing, property listings, reports, television and radio guides, and show guides.

Create a flat-file database from existing QuarkXPress documents. Use LinkUP! Workgroup to handle character-set issues between platforms and provide conditional updating. There's also picture-information support enabling the user to maintain a database of the images used in the QuarkXPress documents.
