Features

Imposing Plus, the first software to generate printer's spreads from PDFs, breaks the mold of imposition tools. Instead of a monolithic approach to setting up a complete imposition then sending it to plate or film to see the results, this product works with the unique features of PDFs and Acrobat.

Each of the easy-to-use tools in Imposing Plus works with documents on screen — rearranging, combining, or imposing — all lightning fast. The plate is there on screen, for immediate printing or to save for later use.

Traditional imposition tools have a list of compatible documents. Imposing will impose any PDF, or PDFs combined from a variety of sources. It's accurate and precise but attractively priced and easy to use, even for those with no publishing experience, and not tied to PostScript printing. Imposing Plus will also appeal to anyone who has ever wanted to turn a document into a booklet, or shrink slides for a handout.

Imposing Plus is a true cross-platform solution to current and future needs, though Imposing may not suit users who require complex plate layouts, plates over 45-inches square, or who have high-automation requirements. Verify that Acrobat can handle the chosen printer or output device.
