Lucida Math Font Collection is a comprehensive set of fonts for math, science, and technical publications.

Ascender created this special collection specifically for designers and publishers looking for a complete set of math fonts that all work well together.

The 23 PostScript Type 1 fonts in this collection include standard mathematical symbols and Greek characters along with three matched font families: Lucida Bright (serif), Lucida Sans (sans serif) and Lucida Sans Mono (monospaced sans serif).

Lucida has long been a favorite of mathematical, technical, and scientific publishers because of its legibility, beauty, extensive character sets, and range of typeface styles. The Lucida font family was designed by Kris Holmes and Charles Bigelow to provide great legibility, especially at low resolutions such as on computer screens, fax machines, and printers. It is one of the first typefaces to have both serif and sans serif designs, and has been expanded into a very comprehensive family of fonts with complementary styles.

For this collection, Ascender developed new versions of Lucida with expanded and harmonized typeface families. By matching a serif, sans serif, and monospaced font family with the math fonts, this collection provides a fresh, robust option for scientific, technical, and mathematical designers and publishers.

These Lucida fonts would retail for over $500 if purchased individually, but is value-priced at only $199.
