BodyGuardXT

Features

With BodyGuardXT, control user access to QuarkXPress documents and decide which users are allowed to open, work on, save, and print documents. The user administration assigns all the users with their corresponding privileges. Only the administrator is able to set the protection of a document and set different user profiles. For example: A user is not given the right to change the layout, but can work on the text; other users can only view a document and print it.

The protection functions in this way: The document can be opened only if BodyGuardXT is active, otherwise the document remains locked and unattainable.

BodyGuardXT in action: the Administrator and artist have access to all QuarkXPress functions; the artist may not open user administration; the copy writer cannot open user administration, save documents, or deallocate documents.

When saving the documents, decide whether to save BodyGuardXT as a runtime version or otherwise. Saved as runtime, another user needs only a demo version of BodyGuardXT for opening or printing a document. Not saved as runtime, another user needs a full version of BodyGuardXT. Optimal and reliable protection for documents.
