Features

pdfAutoOptimizer helps to avoid incorrect print results caused by PDF transparencies. This Acrobat Plug-in downsamples transparencies automatically and ensures proper print output. Minimize time loss in prepress production caused by tedious manual PDF transparency flattening and erroneous print products.

Modern RIPs flatten transparencies but the settings cannot be edited, often leading to bad results. pdfAutoOptimizer allows the user to look at all necessary settings and select them. The hot-folder-based automation of pdfAutoOptimizer is extremely flexible and very productive.

Features:

• controls the ÒPDF OptimizerÓ functions in Adobe Acrobat;

• enables hot-folder-based, unattended processing of the PDF Optimizer function in Adobe Acrobat 7; and

• removes ICC profiles attached by Adobe Acrobat.
